Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson Visit Ocasio-Cortez to Combat Trump’s ‘Anti-Civil Rights Agenda’

Breitbart
Tony Lee
11 Jan 2019

excerpt:

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton visited Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) this week, with Sharpton saying that he and Ocasio-Cortez discussed how to “fight back against the disastrous anti-civil rights agenda enacted by the Trump administration.”

Sharpton went to Ocasio-Cortez’s office on Thursday and effusively tweeted about his visit, even sharing a video of the two of them dancing.

“Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez @AOC and I discussed priorities for the coming session and the newly elected members’ plans to fight back against the disastrous anti-civil rights agenda enacted by the Trump administration in the last two years,”

WashPost Admits Trump’s Economy Aiding Minorities, Women

Breitbart
Neil Munro
11 Jan 2019

excerpt:

President Donald Trump’s hot economy is raising wages and bringing more sidelined workers back into the workplace, according to a grudging admission by a “Wonkblog” reporter at the Washington Post.

But the reporter, Andrew van Dam, could not bring himself to mention Trump or admit that Trump’s “Hire American” immigration policy is forcing companies to hire and pay sidelined Americans.

Trump’s policy is very different from the recent Presidents who raised the inflow of foreign workers (legal or illegal) whenever businesses complained about having to hire or reward Americans, such as disabled people, former convicts, and dropouts.

Van Dam wrote:

Minorities and women, especially those in their 20s and early 30s, are returning to the workforce. They’ve been drawn back by rising wages and recruited by employers who may have bypassed them when the supply of unemployed Americans seemed inexhaustible.

Aided by good graphics, Van Dam admitted:

The rate of labor-force participation for prime-age adults (25-54) rose more in the fourth quarter of 2018 than in any quarter since 1994, part of a turnaround that started about three years ago. The rate climbed 1.1 percentage points from the end of 2015, reaching a 12-month average of 82 percent.

The participation rate among working-age women, described by Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta as “particularly strong,” has climbed 1.6 percentage points since December 2015, based on the 12-month average. The equivalent rate for men rose only 0.7 points.

I guess creating enough jobs for everyone (and the resulting expectation of actually working) offends those who prefer to stay on welfare.

What an absolute ton of horseshidt!

Trump has been focused on Americans, ALL Americans prospering under his administration and he has damned well made good on the promise to make it happen by unfettering and boosting the economy!

To have these racist asshats accusing Trump of being anti-civil rights is pure projection on their part, because they want special rights and privileges for only themselves and nobody else, no matter what they preach and promise, as is evidenced by their own behaviors!!!!!

Yup, and the Democrats have it down to an art.

I don't mean to say Republicans are "honest and pure", LOL. Nope, they lie too; Not as much as Democrats lie, nor as heinously or viciously, but they do lie. The biggest difference, however, remains that Republicans just plain aren't as good at lying as Democrats. With Reps it's a conscious effort, often clumsy and obvious. With Dems it's just second nature. They lie as easily and comfortably as breathing. You know the old joke about how you can tell a Dem is lying - Their lips are moving.

"Top definition

Poverty pimp: Any self appointed minority leader, who extols the perpetual poorness of their ethnicity, yet is quite well off stemming from their efforts.

Usually a Reverend of some unknown church. Marches at the drop of a hat to mug for the cameras.

Uses White guilt to gain credibility, money, and influence.

Are usually racists themselves.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are flaming Poverty Pimps."

And there it is. Fiction more honest than 'truth'.
