Cincinnati.

This farce has been playing out since 2015. Former judge Tracy Hunter (IMO) is insane, as are some of her supporters.

What did she do? Apparently, she tried to get evidence illegally to help her brother, a prison guard, who was charged with punching an inmate in his custody. She was tried on several other charges but acquitted of those.

Erm. At what point did you not answer your own question?

I mean, what did the security guard/policeman/child protection officer/JUDGE (!) do other than not follow the law they were sworn to uphold?

If I ask you to watch my home. And you agree. And it gets broken into. At what point are you even able to say, "not my problem" with any degree of honesty!?

What was she charged with?

The grand jury charged her with 8 separate charges.
The charges are two counts of tampering with evidence, two counts of forgery, two counts of having an unlawful interest in a public contract and two counts of theft in office.
While her case was pending she received her 123,000 dollar / year salary. So that case drug out for 3 years, that's over 360k paid with no work!

Of all those counts she was convicted on one count of having an unlawful interest in a public contract. The jury could not come to terms on the other counts. The count is a felony. Meaning she could have spent more than 1 year in jail. She got off light, if that had been anyone else white or black they would have been charged with over 1 year. She knows better, she's a judge and a lawyer. She broke the law, when is it not appropriate to hold someone accountable for their actions?
