Trump dismisses attempt by 'abuser' Mexico to negotiate tariffs

Washington Examiner ^ | 06-02-19 | John Gage

President Trump Sunday derided Mexico's effort to negotiate away his threat to impose 5% tariffs, calling the nation an "abuser" of the United States and declaring, "America has had enough." "People have been saying for years that we should talk to Mexico. The problem is that Mexico is an 'abuser' of the United States, taking but never giving. It has been this way for decades," Trump said on Twitter. "Either they stop the invasion of our Country, "[W]hich they can do very easily, or our many companies and jobs that have been foolishly allowed to move South of the Border, will be brought back into the United States through taxation (Tariffs). America has had enough!"

Trump's point other than stopping the import of an underclass is to promote domestic production and dispell the myth that you have to have a college degree to succeed. He has the experience negotiating with labor and trade unions to make it happen. He wants government to work. That's why the Democrats "resist".

Tariffs can be used to build the wall, and Mexico would be paying for it!

...about the rapidly jacket-up penalties for non compliance.

Years ago I received a parking ticket in downtown Coos Bay, OR.

OK, so I'm reading this thing and it says if I pay within an hour it's like $1. If I pay within 2 hours, it's $2, etc., etc..

So guess what, I walked immediately to city and paid the damn thing.

Start taxing remittances to Mexico and other places that the illegals are coming from.
