Some of my earliest memories are of watching Hee Haw with my grandfather.

I remember him from F-Troop. Didn't know about the others.

RIP.

FWIW, in my Navy days, have had to deal to officers like that. Play it well, you can get the job done even in spite of them.

Penny Marshall, age 75.

I rarely watched "Laverne & Shirley", but I remember her on other shows, like Bob Newhart and Mary Tyler Moore, and especially as Oscar Madison's assistant on "The Odd Couple".

RIP Ms Marshall.

I remember her on The Odd Couple and I did watch Laverne & Shirley. I remember their first appearance on Happy Days.
She directed 'Big' and lot's of other movies.

RIP and thanks for the laughs.

RIP Ms Locke.

I mostly remember her from several Clint Eastwood movies. I know they were "a couple" for several years, but I don't think they were ever married.

No, but she did sue him for palimony if I recall correctly.

Yup. This was not long after the term was 'invented' during the Lee Marvin/Michelle Triola (sp?) case.

R.I.P. She's got 30-some credits as an actress according to IMDB, but the only ones I remember are the Clint Eastwood films.

Last 2018/first 2019 celeb death of note:

Dean Ford, lead singer and songwriter with classic Scottish pop/rock band Marmalade.

Underrated band, and Reflections is IMO one of the best pop songs ever written.

RIP.

Having read a none too flattering biography of Clint a few years ago, IMO she deserved every penny she got from him.
