Kris Kobach and Rudy Giuliani would fill the loyal lackey role well. Not so sure about Christie or Walker.

I agree. Way better than Christie.

Getting the best of the best to serve in high government positions probably used to be a high honor but I bet the Kavanaugh confirmation might have given lots of potential candidates second thoughts about that.

Scott Walker doesn't even have an undergraduate degree. Why in the world would his name be in the mix?

I don't know what the President's time table is about how quickly to fill this vacancy but Maybe Mr. Whitacker could earn the job by doing "the business of the people" and delivering justice in all the areas where it's been ignored or subverted until now.

Mr. President, there must be better choices available than this guy. Could you look outside the NY/NJ/FL corridor for once?

Please, not Christie

Get a grip....was half joking.

I work in IT. Doing multiple tasks at once is a breeze.

Even with Trump living in your head. I’ll bet you’re just “unfireable”.

Just my opinion, Christie and Giuliani both seem like bigmouth prima donnas who’d be a little too out for their own glory and headline making. Someone steadier with less baggage and more concerned with quietly going about doing their job right rather than harnessing their star power might be the better choice. Someone who will stand behind the President rather than overly vying for attention with him.

Kris Kobach would be an excellent choice. Talk about liberal heads exploding!

Christie would be an embarrassment for Trump Far too much baggage and negative reputation

I'm still mad at him for getting obama re-elected -- maybe not the entire reason, but he played a big part!
