Oh nice! More! The Ohr stuff was good.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything Sheila Jackson Lee has to ask Page.

Contradictions Thread

This guy compiled a short list of contradictions based on testimony so far:

---

Lisa Page testimony:

—I still didn’t know who Chris Steele even was as of Aug 2016. No idea. Total mystery.

Bruce Ohr testimony:

—I met with Lisa Page to pass on Steele’s reporting to her and Andy McCabe on July 30 (or by the very latest Aug 3)

Glenn Simpson testimony:

—I never met anyone at DOJ or FBI before the 2016 election

Bruce Ohr testimony:

—I met Glenn Simpson in Aug 2016

John Podesta testimony:

—I’ve no idea who Fusion GPS are or anything about this dossier

(Sat next to Marc Elias who was paying Fusion GPS. Podesta was also being briefed on the dossier reporting by Elias, as was Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook)

Glenn Simpson testimony:

—I‘m not aware of any version of the Steele dossier being given to the FBI

Peter Strzok (internal FBI email):

—We received a version of the dossier from [Glenn] Simpson

Glenn Simpson testimony:

—Apart from Edward Baumgartner we didn’t any Russian speakers at Fusion GPS prior to the election

Nellie Ohr testimony (coming soon):

—I speak Russian and I worked for Fusion GPS prior to the election

Comey (signed on a FISA application):

—This is a “VERIFIED APPLICATION”, using the Woods Procedures, in Oct 2016

McCabe testimony:

—We wouldn’t have got that FISA warrant without the dossier

James Clapper (Comey’s boss, in his book):

—We hadn’t verified the dossier as of Jan 2017

FBI internal source review, 2016:

—Dossier only “minimally corroborated”

CNN Jan 2017, quoting unnamed government officials:

—Dossier allegations only “recently” “checked out” by FBI

Adam Schiff memo:

—Devin Nunes “overstated” Bruce Ohr’s role in interacting with Steele and the FBIs investigation

Internal DOJ docs:

—Ohr interacted with Steele dozens of times, in person, text, email, calls

Ohr testimony:

—I gave Steele’s reporting directly to Andy McCabe

And that’s off the top of my head

Lisa Page confirmed to me under oath that the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information. - Rep. John Ratcliffe

Mr. Rarcliffe - Okay. So let me if I can, I know I'm testing your memory, but when you say advice you got from the Department, you're making it sound like it was the Department that told you: You're not going to charge gross negligence because we're the prosecutors and we're telling you we're not going to - -

Ms. Page - That is correct.

Also...

Mr. Ratcliffe - Let me move on to a text message on September 2nd of 2016. It's a series of texts that you exchanged with Agent Strzok. And at one point you text him: Yes, because POTUS wants to know everything we are doing.

Ms. Page - Oh yeah. I don't see where it is, but I know what it is, yeah.

Mr. Ratcliffe - Okay. And do you know what the context of what it is?

Ms. Page - It is. This is in the context of - -

Mr. Ratcliffe - Well, first of all, so is POTUS, I'm assuming that's - -

Ms. Page - President Obama.

And yet, the leftist media stays silent.

If the media would do thier job, the Democrats would never win office again. I so loathe the leftist media.

30 pages into Day 1. This is better than Ohr's testimony. Too bad the media is ignoring this. These transcribed pages would be a ratings bonanza to them.

Lisa Page admitted Obama DOJ ordered stand-down on Clinton email prosecution, GOP rep says
By Gregg Re

Fox News

<More Nothing To See Here>

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page admitted under questioning from Texas Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe last summer that "the FBI was ordered by the Obama DOJ not to consider charging Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in the handling of classified information," the congressman alleged in a social media post late Tuesday, citing a newly unearthed transcript of Page's closed-door testimony.

Page and since-fired FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok, who were romantically involved, exchanged numerous anti-Trump text messages in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election, and Republicans have long accused the bureau of political bias. But Page's testimony was perhaps the most salient evidence yet that the Justice Department improperly interfered with the FBI's supposedly independent conclusions on Clinton's criminal culpability, Ratcliffe alleged.

"So let me if I can, I know I'm testing your memory," Ratcliffe began as he questioned Page under oath, according to a transcript excerpt he posted on Twitter. "But when you say advice you got from the Department, you're making it sound like it was the Department that told you: You're not going to charge gross negligence because we're the prosecutors and we're telling you we're not going to —"

Page interrupted: "That is correct," as Ratcliffe finished his sentence, " -- bring a case based on that."

The document dump was part of a major release by House Judiciary Committee Republicans, who on Tuesday released hundreds of pages of transcripts from last year's closed-door interview with Page, revealing new details about the bureau's controversial internal discussions regarding an "insurance policy" against then-candidate Donald Trump. Fox News has previously reviewed portions of Page's testimony.

Responding to the transcript revelations, Trump on Wednesday tweeted: "The just revealed FBI Agent Lisa Page transcripts make the Obama Justice Department look exactly like it was, a broken and corrupt machine. Hopefully, justice will finally be served. Much more to come!"

How much more evidence must there be before people start getting indicted for these crimes?

The Mueller investigation started with little more than a phony theory of collusion. An investigation in search of a crime. With the Clinton private server case we have obstruction of justice AND collusion evidence AND the very real crime of gross negligence (with classified information) and nothing is happening.

The left's talking point on this is that the FBI does not charge people with crimes, and the process happened as it should. At least that is what they are blasting all over Twitter.

However, I guess they missed the overreach tactics of the FBI with arresting people. Hmmmmm, not sure they could have missed that. But hey, they are the left. Selecting missing are a a bit common.

The left is trying to weasel out of this by omitting information (as you said). The FBI DOES make recommendations regarding charges. James Comey made that clear in his official press release regarding Hillary's private server.

Link to Comey's press release

Comey recommended against charges, which is what Lisa Page said they were ordered to do.

And that's what is so ass backwards on what Comey did. He did not recommend charges based on the fact that no one would prosecute. That's now how the process works and he knows it and everyone in the justice dept knows it.
