No way are all these Dem's running for president, think they are going to win.

My belief is many are running for other reason than winning the actual Presidency.

Such as;
Running to be VP
Running to cash in on the lecture circuit
Running for exposure for future higher office
Running to simply get paid

So here is the list of candidate, and my thoughts on why they are really running.

Cory Booker (D) - This lone may actually think he is going to win.
Pete Buttigieg (D) - No idea who this guy is. Probably running for VP slot or exposure
Julian Castro (D) - VP Slot
John Delaney (D) - Again, no idea who this is. Probably VP slot
Tulsi Gabbard (D) - I think she is running for exposure and possibly the VP slot
Kirsten Gillibrand (D) - I don't think she even knows. Most likely for money.
Kamala Harris (D) - She wants the brass ring. Would probably refuse the VP slot when it is offered to her, and then cash in.
John Hickenlooper (D) - VP slot
Jay Inslee (D) - VP slot
Amy Klobuchar (D) - Arrogant to the core, probably thinks she should win. POTUS or lecture money.
Wayne Messam (D) - No idea who this is.
Beto O'Rourke (D) - VP Slot. His white guilt is too much for him to actually be the POTUS.
Bernie Sanders (I) - To get paid, of course! Another car or house is in his sights.
Elizabeth Warren (D) - This loon actually thinks she should be president. However, she's looking for money on the lecture circuit.
Bill Weld ® - Exposure for what I do not know.
Marianne Williamson (D) - She is a loon. Her reasons do not matter just like her.
Andrew Yang (D) - VP slot or national exposure
Joe Biden (D) - He wants to be POTUS

What do you think?

Its always about money. As a businessman, I would not hire any of these persons to work for me, like a wise man once said, Washington is Hollywood for ugly people.

I imagine some are auditioning for Hillary’s VP. They are there to pull everyone left so Hillary can come in looking like a moderate to “save” the party.

Add to the list Stacey Abrams of GA. As if LOSING the race for governor somehow qualifies her to be prez.

She's probably hoping that some rich skinny white guy gets the top slot, so that she can "balance the ticket" as the poor ugly fat black broad. (And by broad I do mean broad. As in breadth.) She gets on the ticket, they'll need to add an extra dining car to the campaign train.

I think they need to be loved. The admiration of the crowd, unthinking crowd but still a crowd.

Can’t agree here. I think Hillary is toast and she knows it. I don’t see her entering the race.

Abrams’ is only making waves becuase she wants to run against Perdue. I don’t think she enters the POTUS race.

You are most likely right but I wouldn’t completely rule it out. She may do it just to keep from being indicted.

All the talk of Hillary not in this race. I see her waiting in the wings, watching all the lefty nominees chew/bite/tear each other apart and when all hope is lost....in comes Saint Hillary to the rescue to save the Democratic Party, with Bill by her side. And if that sounds too good to be true, with Bill's bad health, should he be found face down in some young aide, she can always garner the sympathy vote....look it up its between s*** and syphilis.

I mentioned before that I think Moochel will run, although it was pointed out that she is too lazy to do so. Could be true, although she would be a lock, in my opinion, if she decided to run.

You are spot on, she is way too lazy to run. Ain't gonna happen.

Many of the big names are running, or claiming to be running or considering it so when the tables turn, and charges start being thrown at them, they can claim Trump is attacking his political rivals.

Makes for a very interesting speculation exercise, doesn't it? I admit the idea that any of them might have other aims or goals or expectations never occurred to me; never gave it any thought one way or the other. But I guess if I had ever thought about it, I would've just presumed anybody who runs for president does so because they want to be president, and probably even really believes they're "the one" who is "best suited" for the job. (And looking over that list of window-lickers, that's hilarious indeed, LOL. I wouldn't let any of them scrub my toilet.)

So your speculation intrigues me, and I have a hunch I'll follow this thread if it lasts for a while. But I don't know whether or not I'll be able to add much, because my mind just can't wrap itself around what passes for "thought" in a Democrat. Who can know what's going on inside any Democrat's head at any given time? I mean, of course, besides "Umm...Durr...Uhh...Oh yeah! Orange Man Bad!"

It all boils down to which candidate can catch the attention of the Left's big money donors. In 2016, it was Hillary making promises to the Wall Street crowd and from what I remember, spent over a billion $ on her campaign. This time around there's no clear frontrunner, so every Tom, Dick and Mary are all competing not so much for the public's attention, as for people who can write the big checks.

After watching the Kavanaugh hearings, who better to continue the division and gov't corruption perpetrated by the last Sleaze than the current Obama clone, Cory Booker?

Well, her husband/beard admitted he was lazy and look where it got him....you can see it in her eyes.....she is at least considering it.....and that would be a gift from socialist heaven for the Democrats ...... have y’all noticed how many magazine covers she has been on over the last year? Or the number of TV shows she has been on? She is being given the political
“makeover “.......she is too cool for school....and IF she were to be elected ..... Barry O would be the First Lady. :whistling:
What does she have going for her? The left sees—— she is a woman...she is a progressive.....she is all black not just half....she makes a good speech....she is a black Jackie Kennedy....has a great smile and great “guns”......

andandand with “Beta” O’Rook as the VP choice how can they loose....remember HE is such a “Kennedy”....

you WILL see women swoooooooon at his political rallies.

With his DWI record.......at least he drives like a Kennedy. :sheep:

Leftists always do two things:
1. If what they promise actually sounds half decent, they do the opposite.
2. If what they blame others for is horrible, they already did it or want to do it.

With those principles in mind:
- most people on this list know they ain’t it for POTUS, so they’re in it to raise their status and to make money
- most people on this list blame the rich white guys for everything, so they’re using the POTUS run to come across a bit more like rich white guys.

Nothing more to it IMHO.

It's always about power and prestige with the left. No sincerity whatsoever.
