U.S. Marine Corps honors dog for wartime bravery

A special ceremony is being held in London Tuesday to honor a United States war hero for her sacrifice on the battlefield. Lucca is a German Shepherd that served with Marines to clear explosives in war zones. Her efforts protected thousands of troops, before a bomb ended her service. Debora Patta reports from Wellington Barracks in London.

Mixed opinions, here. I applaud Lucca and give her an extra scooby-snack. But IMHO doesn't stack up to those in EOD who knowingly were willing to risk all.

Sorry. I just won't equate animals with humans. EVER.
