I'd say that it's incredible how someone in this country, actually lots and lots of left wing someones, so freely make use of their free speech rights, to demand that anyone who disagrees with them should have their rights suppressed to the point of being denied all together. But it happens with such regularity anymore, that even to feign surprise would be an act.
Don't agree with those on the far, far left who seem to believe that Castro and Chavez (among others) are the greatest thing since sliced bread, and you should be denied not only the right to say such things, but even the freedom of free movement! And his call for incarceration is for simply saying that you think Chavez is a dictator. I can't imagine what he would think appropriate for anyone who actually went to Venezuela and perhaps was active in protest against Chavez? Donated money to anti Chavez political forces? Firing squad? There is a base, rather primitive and visceral part of me that believes that the only answer for declarations like the ones Penn and his ilk make, is to lock them up in some third world cesspool of a jail, see if they still believe that it's the justifiable answer to disagreeing with someone!
