Rush Limbaugh: Bomb Squad Races to Home Over Suspicious Package

The bomb squad is currently sweeping through Rush Limbaugh's Palm Beach home after a suspicious package was discovered on scene.

According to local reports, Limbaugh's security team discovered the package and notified authorities.

This is just too coincidental that Breitbart suddenly died and now a bomb at Limbaugh's house.

Well, there's a reason I don't use my real name on boards like this anymore.

When I first signed up in 04, my screen name was my real name. What the heck, I've got nothing to hide, right? You could google my name, see who I am, see that I run a business, and it wouldn't take a Norman Einstein to figure out that I'm my.name@mybusiness.com. Not long after that, I start getting sporadic emails. Nothing at all threatening just the childish sort of name calling you see on DU and KOS etc. No idea if it was because of something I'd said here or some other forum, but it didn't take long to figure out that using my real name on a political site maybe wasn't such a good idea.

Yeah, I do try to keep a low profile.

But land line phones, back when that's what we all had, could become a real nuisance, too.

Back years ago, my phone number was 753-2580 (up and across, I think, on a standard phone pad) and somehow a group of young people used to periodically waste alot of my time calling me just because they liked my number, I guess, and because maybe it was more fun than being bored.

Cops sound convinced the package isn't dangerous ... despite the fact it had an electronic plaque and wires.

Officials say the sender has been identified as a person in Pennsylvania.. The sender apologized for the suspicious packaging, but insisted it was NOT a bomb.

Cops say they have not determined if the package will be destroyed.

One of the non-emergency phone numbers for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office is (503) 988-3511. Misdial one digit and it's my cellphone. I usually get two or three wrong number a week - a nuissance, but not enough to bother changing my number over. Most of the time it's no biggie. Every once in a while the caller is a real doofus that just doesn't get it when I try to tell them I'm not the sheriff, and they're obviously looking for free legal advice.

Oooh, I can't express how sorely tempted I am at times to give it to them. In my best Sgt. Friday voice.

I read on FNC's website the package was sent to Rush for him to check out a financial opportunity. I doubt Rush needs a financial opportunity. The site also said the 'item' concerned the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth...??? The fish are starting to smell ever so slightly.

The site did not give any information on the sender, tho. So, I'll wait & see what comes of this.
