[Too short to excerpt]

Yesterday we brought you 10 Democrats who either heavily criticized former FBI Director James Comey or called for his firing during the Obama administration. Now that President Trump is in the Oval Office, many Democrats have changed their tune.

The RNC has taken notice of their hypocrisy. Watch:

Exposing the lies and hypocrisy of democrats is one of the greatest benefits of the internet. Before the internet we would have relied on the liberal media to bring this to our attention. Sunlight really is the best disinfectant.

While it's clear politicians have no problem being hypocrites, it's also clear that the people who support them have no problem with it either.

Democratic Hypocrisy and Hysteria Donít Make Trump Right
by David French

Excerpt:

If we want Trump to tell the truth, to behave responsibly, and not to lash out in unreasoned fury, then it canít just be Democrats who take him on. Yes, itís right to point out when Democrats are wrong and unreasonable. Itís right to push back against hysteria. But you push back for an underlying purpose: to uphold the core principles of constitutional republic. Did Trump tell the truth? What was his intent? Will the FBI investigation of Russian interference proceed unimpeded? These are the core questions of the day, not whether Bernie Sanders or Chuck Schumer are political opportunists, not whether Keith Olbermann has lost his mind. Itís time to stop enabling Trump and start seeking the truth ó even if the truth hurts

David French is entitled to his opinion -- he doesn't have the final say as to what's right or wrong.

As far as the "sudden" preoccupation with the Russians, by all means -- let's investigate Russian/US issues. Let's look at Hillary Clinton's greasing of the transaction that gave Russian's control of US uranium assets. Let's look at the Skolkovo project near Moscow. What if any technology transfers occurred? And since the investigation into Russian tampering with the US election has been going on for over 6 months and even Senator Diane Feinstein says there is no evidence the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians, why isn't this "witch hunt" being called a waste of tax payer dollars?

If you can reconcile these you're a magician. . .

This is just further evidence that to these people, everything president Trump does has to be wrong. His administration could cure cancer and they'd still find a way to turn it into an attack on Trump. It's deplorable, really.

I like reading David French's work, but what or how did Russia influence the election? In the same way that Barack Obama influenced Israel's election? Or are the democrats accusing Russia of actually casting fraudulent ballots to increase Donald Trump's vote total? While there is no evidence of that, there is ACTUAL evidence that the democrat party is COLLUDING with Mexico and Central American countries to increase democrat vote totals.

Before that-lady comes on and accuses me of Wahhabism (or whatever the heck she prattles on about), the topic at hand is Politicians colluding with foreign governments to influence US elections. Every single democrat that opposes requiring an ID to be shown before voting is engaged in collusion with foreign governments to influence our election.

SInce we do know that Hillary was involved with the Russians, is this just a big long con between the democrat party and the Russians to undermine the US? After 8 years of Barack, almost any republican could have moonwalked into the Presidency. Were the democrats planning this all along with whichever republican took office?

Don't you understand your proper role, rightwingers? It's your job to always come clean, publicly, about YOUR failings and lies. Calling out the opposition, most hypocritically possible, is the left's job!

What's the problem with an independent investigation of the Russian interference or collusion? If there's nothing there it will all come out. If it had no influence on the results, it should put an end to the controversy. If Trumps associates did nothing to encourage any malfeasance, everyone will feel all the better knowing the truth.

Good point. I don't doubt that the Democrats would plan to do that no matter who was elected, they are like the Party in Orwell's 1984, acquiring and maintaining power is all they care about.

What was the problem with an independent investigation of Fast and Furious? Hillary's e-mail server? The IRS scandal?

I am all for an independent investigation of Russian interference. Right after the investigations into the aforementioned are complete.

Plus Benghazi and the Iran deal.

If the democrats had no criminal activity to hide, then why didn't they allow the FBI to look into their records when the supposed Russian interference claims first arose.

I agree that Trump has made some stupid blunders in talking about Putin the way he has over the past year and with some people that worked on his campaign. That said, the Obama Administration has already surveiled, unmasked, and disseminated all the information they had on Trump and nothing has been found. At this point, the democrats are just barking at the wind instead of coming to terms with the obvious fact that they chose a terrible candidate.

The last independent investigator was during the Bush Administration, appointed by a AG John Ashcroft.......and it was also for a democrat created witch hunt. No one was guilty in that witch hunt either. Had Scooter Libby not done the same thing that James Comey did, and lied about some trivial matter, no one would have even been prosecuted.

That said, if the democrats want an independent investigator, then they probably should have thought about that in 2012 when the Republicans requested one in regards to Benghazi.
