Police: Pizza Hut Supervisor Pepper-Sprays Employee After Argument

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Mitchell Northam
2:57 p.m Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Excerpt:

After an argument sparked by how pepperoni and cheese were placed on a pizza, a Pizza Hut supervisor pepper-sprayed a coworker, according to a police report.

Sandy Springs Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Anderson Ramon Lewis for disorderly conduct. The pepper spray was discharged in the direction of the female victim’s face, but police said it didn’t seriously harm her as it landed on her arm.

According to the report, police responded to the Pizza Hut at 4920 Roswell Road on Tuesday around 7 p.m. Witnesses told police that two employees had a verbal altercation that ended with Lewis using pepper spray.

Police said witnesses told them Lewis initially confronted the victim about the placement of the pizza ingredients, before telling her that she “needed to go home or get fired.” She responded by telling Lewis that he wasn’t her manager.

The pepper spray gives the pizzas a little kick.

You're right. He didn't knead to use pepper spray.

Artistic expression on a pizza is the spice of life.

Like hell it is. I'm a pizza Nazi and only my preferred crust and toppings are acceptable. :P

And do you enforce that with pepper spray? :(

I must admit that I tried my hand at white pizza over the week long event for Mother's Day aka Mamapalooza... :surrender:

Absolutely not. I prefer to shame the recalcitrants.

I love the idea of Mamapalooza. Did you mother like the pizza?

Since it was a first try, she wasn't sure what to expect ( or me ) but despite being rather rich it was tasty. I used fresh spinach, mushrooms, finely sliced red onion, lots of cheese, black olives and shredded chicken and par-baked the crust with parm so it was nutty all over before the toppings got piled on.

Because of Mom's health issues, acidic meals can sometimes bother her too close together and since we had chicken enchiladas the day before, the white pizza seemed a better idea... And she loves chicken.

She did say she likes my pepperoni & sausage pie, though, so I think she's gonna stay in the traditionalist camp!

It sounds good and I like the ingredients but I think it would be very rich.

I really like the pepperoni & sausage pie with tomato sauce. In fact, with mushrooms, that's my favorite combination.

If it doesn't get too hot this weekend I will be making one of those, with extra cheese ( seriously, what is pizza without lots of cheese?) black olives and some finely sliced yellow onions... With a side salad, of course, so that it's a healthy meal!!! Although with the mushrooms and onions, it's practically a vegetarian pizza!

I love white pizza.

Because of my ulcers I shouldn't eat tomato sauce (but I still do occasionally, LOL.) I'd never heard of white pizza until a friend recommended it.

Turns out I love it! Even better, in fact, than regular "red" pizza.

Me too. I get it with steak, onions, and garlic at an Italian joint down the street. It's heavenly.

Mmmm, steak on a pizza? Do you mean whole chunks of steak, or ground up like hamburger?

Either way, sounds great.

Sliced steak, kind of like a philly cheese steak.
