There have been plenty of awful anti-gun takes following the horrific, deadly shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, but this one from USA Today … this one’s in a league of its own:

Of course, Twitter had to have some fun with this (scroll WAY down at the article):

And then, USA Today clarified.

A chainsaw bayonet?

And these idiots put that made up crap out there seriously?

More proof as to why nobody should ever trust or believe anything that they say without question.

Fake news.

More proof of their absolute stupidity. I am so glad I have raised my daughters with an understanding and respect of firearms. My son will have this same as the years go by as well. Sad thing is I bump into Japanese people who have 0 knowledge have bought into some of the myths, but at least they are honest about knowing nothing and willing to learn before making any kind of judgements. Unreal, the people who have never seen or even had a chance to shoot or see a gun at least have an open mind and are willing to learn.

You want even more evidence of leftist media bias, look at the difference in how they describe the gun used by the church shooter and the guy who shot him, an NRA instructor. Both used AR15s, yup, you'd never know that just reading most "news" stories. The church shooter's rifle is described as an "assault rifle/weapon" or "military style" while the man who shot him, interrupting his massacre and saving lives, "grabbed his rifle." It's always a generic "rifle" with no descriptors to make it scary. Why, it's as if he grabbed his old muzzle loader from over the fireplace and raced out! He was returning fire with the exact same kind of rifle the church shooter was using, but we can't admit that now can we? :hairpull:

USA Today is missing the most evil of all accessories:

The AR-15 with an attacked AK-47

Somebody actually made a chainsaw bayonet?

This thing can barely cut hot butter, much less a tree? :biglaugh:

STAND STILL! DON'T MOVE AS I SLOWLY SAW YOU!

And USA today believes this crap? :lol3:

If the killer had used one of these instead, most of his victims would have escaped!

Was checking out one of these at my local S-Mart recently. Sales guy (who had a weird prosthetic hand, not that there is anything wrong with that) was going on and on about how awesome it was. But he called the rifle a "boom stick", so I figured he didn't know what he was talking about. Must have just been transferred over from footwear or something. I remember his name tag said "Ash". Who the hell names their kid that?

I bet this is a fantasy weapon in some stupid video game that the idiot leftist mistakes for reality. Like plasma rifles or BFGs.

Yeah, I couldn't find that picture so I settled for this.

Also full disclosure, I'm pretty sure that's a Saiga-12 shotgun rather than an AK, but the left won't know the difference

Yeah, that magazine is way too fat to be for the 7.62 x 39. Looks like it's for 12 gauge shotgun shells.

Which means the combo would be so heavy it'd be almost impossible for anyone other than "Ahhnold" to wield it effectively. If anyone was armed, and you tried to use that, they'd mow you down before you had a chance to get more than a round or two off. Very scary, not.
