Legendary Broadway Star Crosses Line, Calls For Trump’s Assassination: ‘Will That Get Me In Trouble?’

BPR

September 10, 2018

Excerpt:

Broadway legend Carole Cook, who may have actually known John Wilkes Booth, asked where is the man who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln while talking about President Donald Trump.

In a sense, the 94-year-old Hollywood grande dame openly backed President Trump’s assassination… and it was met with a collective ho-hum by the Fake News media.

A TMZ cameraman asked Cook and her husband about an incident last week during a performance of “Frozen,” when a audience member held up a “Trump 2020” banner.

The couple were leaving a West Hollywood restaurant and her husband knew what was coming, saying, “Oh, this is good.”

“Where’s John Wilkes Booth when you need him?” Cook then said, to the amusement of her husband.

The actress proceeded to ensure the cameraman knew that Booth had assassinated Lincoln.

“Where is he when you need him?” she reemphasized, to be sure she made her point.

*snip*

Full Story

I'm sure she thinks she's hilarious. What a shame they don't take those threats seriously now.

She could have been talking about the idiot holding up a Trump sign during the theater performance, since that is what they were asking her about. She is 94 years old.

Unless there's more to this story, I think the remark from a 94 year old who was asked about a person trying to interrupt a performance with a stupid sign could be interpreted either way.
GFY..

Nope, not a chance. As specifically noted:

"The actress proceeded to ensure the cameraman knew that Booth had assassinated Lincoln.

'Where is he when you need him?' she reemphasized, to be sure she made her point."

CLEARLY her point was referring to the assassination of a president.

Well, unless you're a resident of Obtunisia it is glaringly obvious what the old bat meant, and made certain that the people she was giving her drollery to understood exactly what she meant...

But folks from Obtunisia roll a little differently than the rest.

“Where is he when you need him?” Cook asked again before someone off camera asked, “So we need to kill President Trump?”

“Why not?” Cook asked “Now, will that get me in trouble? Will I be on an enemy’s list? My god I hope so… just keep me out of jail.”

Yeah, that sure seems pretty vague.

Plus, like her, the joke is old. Johnny Depp already used it.

There is doubt she meant Trump. Just another mush brain leftist.

I saw a clip of whoever this old fossil is and it appears she actually was asking where Booth was. She was probably personally acquainted with him.

I see no reason to 'lock her up'. Jesus! She expressed her opinion. A stupid one but she is not going to act on her moronic, senile statement. Sure, she was making a tasteless joke about Trump but that's what it was. (Only an idiot would think it's about some member of the audience.) She's a harmless old bat. Some people need to lighten up.

I'm not excusing anything, I went on what was posted.

Have the old woman drawn, quartered and taken to Gitmo if you think she's such a threat.

GFY..

How do you like it? One person holds up a sign and you guys lose your collective sh!t, yet conservatives or Trump supporters have to put up with many times that on a daily basis. Add to that, that some self important blowhard stops a play to verbally abuse the Vice President, who happened to be in the audience.

So, if anyone needs to GFY; it's you and your ilk.

PS Kinda sucks when it comes back on ya; eh?

It was a large banner and it’s stupid, no matter who’s doing it or who is the intended target.

She's about as threatening as a 2 day old kitten - and just as intelligent.

Exactly when did I say view her as as a threat? Strawman much?
