Kamala Harris rides Kavanaugh rage in likely 2020 bid
Politico - David Siders - link

Kamala Harris drew national attention for her combative questioning of Brett Kavanaugh before his confirmation to the Supreme Court.

Now she‘s reaping the benefit among the party grassroots as she campaigns for fellow Democrats and prepares for a likely presidential run.

One day after Kavanaugh’s nomination was confirmed, Harris on Sunday cast the Supreme Court hearings as a “sham and a disgrace,” urging Democrats to turn out in November while implicitly testing the party’s ability to push the controversy beyond the midterm elections.

“The bottom line is that they may have the power right now,” Harris said to cheers at an Ohio Democratic Party dinner. “But we need to take it back.”

Harris is one of the reasons it was such a disgrace and for her to start stomping for a bid in '20 is nauseating.

What she seems to miss is the fact that a lot of folks watched her and her cronies doing things that were so far beyond disgusting that they won't ever forget it.

They also forget that in this climate of victims standing up to their abusers, she might want to remember that the Dims have been abusing taxpayers for a very, very long time and it was that relentless abuse that put Trump into the White House.

Americans don't want to go back to the dismal economy brought about by an inept megalomaniac narcissist promising freebies for votes and delivering nothing but misery for everyone but his inner circle.

Ever notice how everything Democrats campaign on is based on a lie? In this case, we're supposed to believe a woman who can't remember anything, other than 36 years ago she was sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh, 100% sure it was him. No-one to corroborate her story, even the people she named who would. And now we have a prospective presidential candidate making this the centerpiece of her campaign? I doubt the American people are willing to step back into that sinkhole any time soon, but hey, whatever you think will float your capsized boat.

So she admits the democrats were shameful and disgraceful? Cool. Did she say when will she be stepping down?

For Kamala Harris to use the phrase "sham and a disgrace" in reference to the hearings is the very height of shameless hypocrisy. She was among the worst of the perpetraitors (no, that's not a typo) who made it so disgraceful.

Rot in Hell, Kamala Harris.

Trump would be just inelegant enough to point out her "sleep to the top" dependence on men hypocrisy to enable her to reach a position to bid for the Presidency. "Strong woman" needed Williedick to make it big....

Oh, yeah, she's definitely in; her team have already come up with one hell of a campaign ad:

Later, Harris called the Kavanaugh hearings “a denial of justice for the women of this country and sexual assault survivors — men and women — in this country.”

“And let’s also acknowledge that truth is like the sun,” she said. “It always comes up in the morning. And on these issues that were presented during those hearings, I believe the truth will eventually reveal itself.”

Ford was given a voice to speak. And she could not provide facts to her accusations. So we are to just roll over and let accusations determine fate?

What country does this woman live in? Or better yet, what country does she want this to be?

Democrats are overplaying their hand here. This will not end well for them. And to that I say, good!

Lefties like Harris are whining about the Kavanaugh hearings being “a denial of justice to all women and sexual assault victims”

What an idiotic statement. The case in question involved one woman (Blasey Ford) and one man (Kavanaugh). How does this decision, a singular case, which wasn’t even in a court of law, equate to denial of justice to all women and sexual assault victims?

There is not one of us alive that would accept the standard of guilt applied to Kavanaugh were it applied to us. And watching some on this site struggle to make the shoe fit by using the job interview argument was a pathetic exercise to mold so much pseudo intellectual slop into something substantial.

I hope Harris hitches her wagon to this horse, because I think there are enough clear thinking people who can still recognize a pile of <censored> as a pile of <censored>.

And keep in mind it was much worse than merely "could not provide facts".

It's true she had no evidence whatsoever, not a single scrap, to corroborate anything she said. But even worse, she was proven to be deliberately lying about several of the things she did say.

Can't fly in an airplane? She flies all the freakin' time!

The "two front doors" thing? She not only lied about the reason for it, she also lied about the timing. She said that she & her husband had to go to counseling in 2012 because of the "two doors" argument (and that, she claims, is where she first brought up the Kavanaugh thing.) But according to records, the "two door" construction job took place four years earlier, in 2008! Four years later they still haven't finished the job because the issue still hasn't been settled??

She also blatantly lied when asked if she had ever tutored anybody in how to pass a lie-detector test.

And so forth. What's more, her lawyers were also proven to be lying (by omission) to her about the offer to fly everybody to her location to conduct the interview.

So it's important to remember that far worse than mere "absence of evidence", she & her lawyers are proven liars.
