America lost and liberals win, I thought Americans liberals were smarter than this.

Imagine Maxine Waters head of a financial committee and this Ocasio-Cortez Gal in the house and I thought Pelosi was a nightmare as speaker of the house, wow.

Now America will for 2 years now, the house will pass no new bills and will spend 100% of the time, with probes into Russian collusion with Trump and impeachment will be the order of the house.

For all the conservatives who did not vote, you actually voted for the Dems, shame on you,

In 2020 if Trump does not win and I hope he does, all I can say is goodbye to America, that I once knew.

The American electorate is very fickle. Thereís a lot of flipping and flopping by voters, and I think a sizable percentage are to a fairly large degree influenced by the leftwing media.

This may not be so bad for Trumpís re-election. The dims will go crazy and itíll remind the fickle voter segment once again why dims canít be trusted. Thatíll help get Trump re-elected.

Dems are already asking for Trumpís tax returns. Expect a blue wave of subpoenas because RussiaRussiaRussia.

Yup... they're gonna throw a few more blankets on the FISA warrant cover-up.

Here's the thing-the dims have the House-Republicans have the Senate. The Senate approves things like judicial appointments and Cabinet posts, as well as treaties and the like. I wonder when we'll hear about sessionzzz leaving to send time with his family and rosenstein will have a new boss. There WILL be changes. If the dims are dumb enough to waste all their time on investigations and hopeless impeachment pushes, in 2020 President Trump will lay all the blame for slowing the great progress he's been making on the dims and win the Presidency AND the House. The great thing is the dims are dumb enough to do just that! :2cents:

I hope they keep doing it at a fever pitch. Go for impeachment!

The electorate, as a rule, tends to not like both houses and the WH being under the control of one party. Obama lost his total control in the first mid-term election. GWB had a Dem Congress. Bill had a Republican Congress.

Since we have increased the majority in the Senate, now would be a good time for RBG to retire.

If the results are as counted, the Democrats have a one-seat majority in the House of Representatives. They will get their chairs on committees and the bat<censored> crazies will obstruct, investigate, and impeach. When it comes time to vote on legislation, a one vote majority is not a guarantee. America took a step backward thanks to the bitter-clingers with their copies of Dreams of My Father, projection, and autocratic tendencies.

This really isn't that bad. A gridlocked Congress, and two years for Dems to show how crazy and willing they are to use the levers of government to try and bring down the president. They will further expose how it is POWER that they want, not the interest of the American people. Trump will be re-elected as a result of their foolishness and idiocy.

Don, please Ė leftist, not liberals. These people in the democrat party are not liberal anymore, or at least very few of them are.

I woke up to a very depressing prospect here in Colorado. We flipped further blue in this election. I havenít seen all of the results yet, but the big seats ALL went to the democrats. The governorís seat went to a hard left socialist, Jared Polis, who wants to implement socialized, one payor insurance in Colorado. The AG, Secretary of State, many of the legislative seats flipped. Weíre doomed, as Charlie Brown would say.

Mike Coffman, who ran away from Trump, lost. Although I reluctantly voted for him, only because he was not a democrat, but he was definitely a RINO, I wish the democrat hadnít picked up the seat. Oh well, life goes on.

Of course, they have a majority, now they will be bi-partisan and work with the republicans where they can, blah, blah, blahÖ.. Right, what BS. For two years it was all, Hitler, racist, impeach, impeach, subpoena, Hitler, misogynist, but now that they have power back in the House, they will work together, Kum Ba Yah and all that. Sheesh.

It's due to the recent influx of Kommiefornians into your state.

They are like locusts or cancer. They have consumed everything in Kommiefornia and now they are swarming/metastisizing elsewhere to do the same.

Yep, exactly. Back in the 80ís we had a lot of Texans come here due to the oil boom. Then the Caliís came, most because they were leaving the high cost of living and they for the most part were on the conservative side. I liked the Texans and could put up the conservative Caliís. Then we started to have quite a few Caliís who came because they had ruined their state and couldnít deal with it anymore. Now, they are doing the same to Colorado, but donít understand that if they do the same to this state theyíll just turn it into Colofornia and it will be just as bad as the one they left. Idiots.

Hillary? Clinton's "return to civility". Yeah, with the Wicked Witch of the West and Mad Maxine with their claws on the gavel? Nothing says "a better future for America" than to have these two octogenarian fossils who live to hate and destroy.

Thanks, Bootsie! I truly appreciate the posters here who recognize the huge difference. But you deserve fair warning: I've been pounding that nail around here for more than 15 years, and there are still too many who use the terms as though they were interchangeable.

It's a pretty safe bet.

And on another thought, the state having legalized recreational pot probably don't help matters either.
