Trump To Appeal 9th Circuit Courtís Ruling On Refugee Policy

The Daily Caller

Excerpt:

President Donald Trump is appealing a federal judgeís decision to block the administrationís new policy on refugees. Trump labelled California justice Jon Tigar ďan Obama judgeĒ in response to what the president viewed as judicial activism.

As the Washington Examiner reports, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed an appeal Tuesday evening in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

U.S. District judge Jon Tigar put a stop to Trumpís plans to deny automatic refugee status to people entering the country illegally. Tigar ruled that as unconstitutional.

ďThis was an Obama judge,Ē Trump said. ďAnd Iíll tell you what, itís not going to happen like this anymore.Ē

The new policy was proposed as a temporary measure and was largely prompted by the migrant caravan parked along the the U.S.-Mexico border and concerns that many of these potential refugees ó 500 of whom have been labeled as ďcriminalsĒ ó could enter the country illegally.

The American Civil Liberties Union and the Southern Poverty Law Center jointly challenged the policy in a lawsuit that Tigar adjudicated.

I wonder why the ACLU, based in NY and the SPLC based in AL, always file suit in the 9th circus?

I hope the President is right.

In this case you can't fix stupid but you can give it a court date. This is ridiculous, the President has absolute authority to do as he wanted in this case and these clowns on the 9th basically claimed his RIGHT as President is Unconstitutional? So who then has the right to determine status? Some unelected bureaucrat that supports the lefts concept of world wide citizenship?
