The only one missing is Mickey Mouse. Truth be told, he's probably been laid low with a busted neck, too naïve to realize what a threat even a Micky Mouse candidate would be to the current list of contenders. :smoker: :coffeenpc:

I'm pretty sure I recognized at least half that gaggle of ignorami. And every one I recognized was a worthless POS.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and presume the rest were all worthless too.

Yeah, okay, this is the SECOND time in almost 20 years I will admit to being wrong. It was "Stealers Wheel".

Yup, Stealer's Wheel. Lead singer: Gerry Rafferty.

Remember Gerry Rafferty?

;)

For some reason I always get Gerry Rafferty and Stephen Bishop mixed up.

That song reminds me of Reservoir Dogs.

How come nobody seems to like classical music here, in particular the violin? Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Brahms violin concertos are some of the hands down best music ever written!

Why do you assume that?

I enjoy all the composers you named.

Antonio Vivaldi is one of my favorites. (Yes, I know he was a Baroque composer, not Classical)

I love classical music. I grew up on it as my father listened to nothing but classical.

Sorry Sarge (and Liz).

Maybe I was being too provocative .... because no one (including me until now lol), when music comes up “defends” the classic classicals.

Rock and roll ain’t got nothing on the first movement of the the Sibelius violin concerto. Or even the Bruch.... :whistling:

I would rather talk about music than the 40+ asshats running for the Democrat nomination.

I listen to KVNO when I ride the bus to and from work. It's a great station. For one, there are no irritating DJs bantering about instead of playing music. Especially the "two 50 year-old men telling fart jokes like 12 year-old boys and the forced giggle chick" formula. Songs run anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes. Which covers my commute time with free uninterrupted music. Also, KVNO plays anything from like the 12th Century all the way to modern movie scores. So it's all new music to me.
