WATCH: Cory Booker Grills Judicial Nominee Over Religious Beliefs. Ted Cruz Blasts Him.

HANK BERRIEN
Daily Wire
2/6/19

EXCERPT:

On Tuesday, after Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) had grilled Neomi Rao, a nominee for the DC Court of Appeals, about her religious beliefs, Sen. Ted Cruz, angry that such an exchange had been conducted, fired back at Booker, blasting that the Senate Judiciary Committee should not be “an avenue for persecution” or a “theological court of inquisition.”

As The Daily Wire reported, before Cruz slammed him Booker had grilled Rao over her perspective on homosexual relationships. The exchange went like this:

Booker: Are gay relationships, in your opinion, immoral?

Rao: Um, senator, I'm not sure the relevance of that.

Booker: I think it is relevant to your opinion. Do you think African American relationships are immoral? Do you think gay relationships are immoral?

Rao: No. I do not.

Booker: You do not believe that. Do you believe they are a sin?

Rao: Senator, my personal views on any of these subjects are things I would put to one side, and I would faithfully follow precedent—

Booker: So you're not willing to say here whether you believe it is sinful for two men to be married — you're not willing to comment on that?

Rao: Senator … No.

Booker: Excuse me?

Another typical moron leftist. You have to deny reality to follow the progressive agenda. It is easier to do that if you are stupid.

People of all political persuasions should be outraged that he was clearly violating the Constitution as it relates to a religious test in order to inform his decision to confirm or not.

Democrats don't even hide how evil they are anymore.

“Later, Booker continued, “Have you ever had an LGBTQ law clerk?”

Rao answered, "I have not been a judge so I don’t have any law clerks."

Favorite part right there. Booker is a class a moron.

Typical leftwing lowlife tactic. Out of the blue ask the person if they are “against” things any sane person would clearly not be, passively manufacturing an underhanded and dishonest suggestion that there must be something about the person that would cause the interlocutor to even have to ask the question, without actually coming out and actively making an accusation it would then be on the interlocutor to have to explain and prove.

“Do you believe African Americans are immoral? What about preventing child abuse? Do you believe child abuse prevention is immoral? Just answer the question, please. Puppies! For or against? Uh, huh. Sure you are. Did you just hesitate with your answer to that?” etc.

Booker went on to Stanford University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1991 and a Master of Arts in sociology the following year.

*snip*

After Stanford, Booker was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to study at the University of Oxford, where he earned an honors degree in United States history in 1994 as a member of The Queen's College.[9] He earned his Juris Doctor in 1997 from Yale Law School, where he operated free legal clinics for low-income residents of New Haven, Connecticut. At Yale, Booker was a founding member of the Chai Society (now Shabtai),[11] was a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and was active in the National Black Law Students Association.[12]

He didn't pay for it, so I'm sure we didn't get our money's worth.

"low-income residences of New Haven, Connecticut" are the ones that can't afford a Porsche.

Booker's performance at the Kavanaugh hearings was enough for me. Dogs who growl at a stranger they find threatening would take one look at Booker and turn into Cujo, foaming mouth and all. I'm no dog, but this guy sets off all kinds of red flags for me.
