The first image shows a billboard PETA installed on top of a seafood restaurant. It just escalates from there...

Here is the Facebook link (requires an account) to see the whole thing (I posted most of it).

This is why ACLU has a PO box and no physical address. Surprised PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) has not done same thing....however, stupid people do stupid things.

Because PETA knows that no matter how they like to try and portray the average fur wearin', animal huntin', gun owner %99.9 are still peaceful, calm people who will never in a million years cause any trouble. The same cannot be said of PETA itself.

I know where I'm eating next time I'm in Baltimore, MD.

ETA: For those who worry about killing shellfish: They are on the same family tree as cockroaches, ants, and houseflies.

I think PETA activists are the same people that cry for dead trees. What do they want us to eat? Dirt?

Kip Graham looks your classic Bernie Sanders supporter...what a douche

And Karl Booton looks like someone who needs therapy...with a Louisville Slugger.

Leftardation in a nutshell.

Radio interview with writer of Jimmy's tweets. (Pretty good.)

"Their campaign not only didn't work. It blew up in their face."

The only thing I can think of is to bad there weren't some hunters in the trees who had just chowed down on something stinky...

Back when I was in college the PETA group on campus was my favorite place to stop when I needed a little female action. Those dopey broads were so easy, all you had to do was stare off into space, speak slowly in a low tone and say something like:

"According to professor Jennifer Mather cephalopods have complex nervous systems and may feel pain in the same way humans do. I always admired the cephalopod, with eight arms they can simply embrace more of the best part of humanity."

then grasp their hand and make sad eyes. A couple of hours later you were able to play bush pilot. No need to even buy her pizza.

My point is, PETA isn't all bad; it does serve a useful purpose.

A friend served us crabcakes for dinner at their house recently. Although I've eaten crab countless times, I'd never eaten crabcakes before. I assure you I was very polite and pretended to love them. And don't misunderstand me; I don't mean to say they were "bad" or anything. They were OK. Pretty good, even. But they just strike me as a horrible waste of perfectly good crab, one of the most delicious foods on earth! Sorta like using filet mignon to make a beef stew. Just as I'd prefer to eat the filet mignon without "mixing" it with other, lesser stuff, by the same token I'd much rather eat crab by itself too.

Simply cook the whole crab in the shell and bring it to me with some pliers to crack the shell, and there's just no better eatin'! The only thing that makes it better is a little bowl of melted butter to dip it in. But otherwise it needs no embellishment.

The Jimmy's tweets were very clever and they all hit directly on target! :D

Fresh Dungeoness crab by itself cannot be beat. I prefer it to lobster. Heck I prefer it to everything.

Many crab cakes are made with canned crabmeat. Often crabcakes also add too much filler to stretch out a relatively pricey food. The most common of canned crabmeat is blue crab from the East coast. Similar species to Dungeoness, but not nearly as sweet or rich.

If they used fresh Dungeoness for crabcakes. Yea, that's pretty much a waste.

Best crab I've ever had my brother and I caught off of Mukilteo. Boiled in seawater the day it was caught. And the bait for the crab pots was free (Grocery store gave away left over turkey parts after Thanksgiving).

My wife and I spent 10 years doing Sheltie Rescue. We knew all about peta. They killed perfectly healthy adoptable dogs. We only put down dogs that were unable to live a decent pain free life due to cancer, severe health problems, and the like. We put down 3 that I can recall out of over 100 we took in. As I understand it, peta is at over 90% euthanized. Disgusting people...

Also on the list is The Humane Society of the US (HSUS). Not to be confused by your local Humane Society. HSUS intentionally plays off the good name of the local shelters.

Crabs and oysters...two types of seafood that I just can't do. Used to go crabbing with my Dad when I was a kid, though, in and around Port Townsend. That was fun. But eating that stinky stuff...no thanks.

Clams, mussels, shrimp, prawns, langouste, lobster...bring it on!
