Bernie Sanders Warns Nominating Biden Could Deliver Trump Second Term

Washington Examiner

Excerpt:

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Sen. Bernie Sanders took aim at Democratic primary rival Joe Biden at the Iowa Democratic Party Hall of Fame forum Sunday, declaring that a "middle ground" strategy would change nothing.

"Now I understand there are well-intentioned candidates who believe the best way forward is a middle ground strategy that antagonizes no one, that stands up to nobody, and that changes nothing," Sanders said. "In my view, that approach is not just bad policy, but it is a failed political strategy that I fear could end up with the reelection of Donald Trump."

The former vice president has declined or been slow to support progressive policies champion by self-described democratic socialist Sanders. Biden came under fire from primary rivals and Democratic candidates last week for declining to support repealing the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits federal funds from being used on abortion services. In response to the pressure, Biden reversed his position. He has also declined to support Medicare for All, a single-payer national healthcare plan that would eliminate private insurance.

"The American people want change, they want real change, and we have got to provide that change," Sanders said.

Correction. Democrats are giving America two choices: left and far-left. There’s no centrist in Biden.

Is this truly how far we’ve fallen, that a 77-yo guy, born during WWII, living through the horrors of communism world-wide, is an extreme leftist who actually has enough support to be taken seriously as a candidate for president? Americans could actually select a commie to be POTUS?

True, but I think the difference is that 100% of voters who pay any attention whatsoever know that Sanders is a socialist, because he himself says so. On the other hand, only about 40-50% of voters knew that Obama was/is one.

Is is knowing that they are or is it really about caring that they are socialists?

Most people are just too damned willfully ignorant stupid and lazy to know any better anymore and they don't care.

I suppose someone should ask Sanders, "If you really are a Socialist who cares about the little guy, how is it you're a millionaire?!" Or, "What needs to be changed in a system that's allowed even an Idiot like you to become a millionaire?" The man's a ridiculous contradiction, peddling one lifestyle, but living another.

Bernie, you need to back down. It's Joe Biden's time.

Bernie, you're second fiddle.

It’s all about promising free on the democrat side and selling it will just cost the rich, add a and we’ll jail trump 90% of brain washed idiots are in. Add a few trump supporters are racist comments you get the other 10%

He needs to STFU and retire to one of his Clinton Foundation bought beach homes.
