Ohio gunman described himself as pro-Satan 'leftist' who supported Elizabeth Warren

Victor Morton
Washington Times
8/4/19

EXCERPT:

The Ohio gunman described himself on social media as a pro-Satan “leftist” who wanted Joe Biden’s generation to die off, hated President Trump and law enforcement, and hoped to vote for Sen. Elizabeth Warren for president.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, rifle-wielding Connor Betts rampaged through a Dayton entertainment district, killing his sister and eight other people and leaving dozens of others wounded before police killed him.

“I want socialism, and i’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding,” he wrote in one tweet, according to Heavy.com.

The breaking-news outlet said it had found Betts‘ Twitter page (handle @iamthespookster) and verified that the account belonged to the gunman “through multiple verification factors, including a matching tattoo on both a page selfie and prominent news outlets’ pictures of Connor Betts; several family linkages to the page; similar photos, including of him and the family dog, on the page and family members’ verified accounts; and references to college and growing up in Ohio and Dayton.”

The Twitter account painted a picture of a left-wing anarchist and discontent, very far from the anti-immigration manifesto posted by Saturday’s El Paso gunman.

“Vote blue for gods sake,” he wrote last Nov. 2. On the day of the senator’s death, Betts wrote “F—k John McCain.”

Though he had a fascination for guns, Betts also was a fan of gun control and blamed Republicans for school shootings.

“This is America: Guns on every corner, guns in every house, no freedom but that to kill,” he wrote in December, and on the day of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting, he tweeted at Sen. Rob Portman: “hey rob. How much did they pay you to look the other way? 17 kids are dead. If not now, when?”

Going to be hard to sweep this one under the rug. But I’m sure the MSM will try.

And yet, Chris Wallace was asking on his Sunday show, that even though the president didn't actually pull the trigger, didn't he bare some of the responsibility for the shootings because of his rhetoric? And of course, his guest agreed, at which point, I walked off. Given CNN's ratings with this constant drivel, you have to wonder why Fox News is headed down the same path...

Oh look at that both shooters are marxist murderers who want nothing more than power for the elites. Yet we are blamed. Go figure.

Trump: "How do you stop these people?"
Audience member: "Shoot them!"
Trump (smirks): "That's only in the panhandle you can get away with that stuff."

It is what they have to do to continue the false narrative that the extremely violent whack jobs in society are conservative "white nationalists" and not whack job leftists.

No, this is what Trump said at a rally in May.

I never said that.

How is this an appropriate question for a POTUS to be asking?

So, I'm absolutely sure you condemned Odumbo (and still do on a regular basis) in the most strongest terms for directly inciting extreme violence from his cult following when he said, "they bring a knife, we bring a gun." Hmmm, wait a minute, I'm wrong...you didn't have any such posts, but only silence from you because, well lefty = hypocrite.

BTW, this is just one of many times Odumbo incited his cult following to violence (https://www.thegatew...nife-bring-gun/), but this is the most egregious example.

Disgusting.

What? He is asking how to stop the southern invasion and says we can't use weapons and that he would never authorize weapons. Here is the only thing remotely related to policy in the entire clip and he says we don't and won't shoot them. What is your issue?

As for the rest, he made a stupid joke with Texans in response to someone shouting something out. Also, he was talking about "in the panhandle," which is as far removed as you can get from the border in Texas so you can't even take his remark to be about the border. It was a stupid joke. It was an inappropriate. And he was playing to the crowd. Can you please put your knee back in place before you hurt yourself.

And your brother who posted it asks why this is appropriate for the president to ask this question? Seriously?

He asked what do we do about these people (southern invaders)? He is responsible for national security and for foreign policy. Why wouldn't he ask the question?

Morons.

Trump says we can't and won't use weapons against them and he is inciting violence. The left is batcrap crazy.

They managed it when the AOCbot firebombed the ICE facility, they'll do it here. They'll blame Trump because its all they do. Heck our own liberals here refuse to even discuss the topic of this thread and immediately turn to bashing Trump.

How is EVERY citizen in this country not asking how to stop 1) illegal immigrants 2) murderers? Both cause devastation in our country.

Partly because his job is to come up with the answers, not to pose the questions.

Duh.

The status of being undocumented is as “devastating” as the act of taking a life?

Really?

I listened to NPR this morning. They are clearly moving in the direction of blaming Trump and also blaming the GOP.

Here are the problems with THEIR attempt at holier than thou:
1) Most people know that the alphabet media (like NPR) are a leftwing propaganda arm. Their biased reporting has been and continues to really piss people off. Why don’t THEY take some responsibility in agitating mentally unstable people? Why don’t THEY fuel hatreds instead of trying to calm tensions? If saying something publicly is decreed to make the entity making the public statement responsible, then THEY must look at the mirror.
2) These unstable individuals have primarily a mental problem, like Trump said. Why is that completely ignored this morning? Is it because that’s what Trump said and THEY must oppose everything he says?
3) If the politics is going to be looked at, then let’s look at the politics. What if it turns out one considered himself a rightwing extremist and the other a leftwing extremist? How is only reporting on the rightwing component fair and responsible, and how are THEY not responsible for inciting hatred if THEY engage in false narratives? Bearing false witness is a serious matter.

Answer those too, LB and TG, if you desire to be truthful in your pursuit of cause of these shootings.
