<More Bad News For lefties/proggies/democrats Here, About Something That SHOULD Be Declining Due To Baby Boomers (So I'm Told)>

(CNSNews.com) Ė The work week is ending with some good news for President Donald Trump, as more records were smashed in Friday's report on September unemployment.

For the 22nd time since Donald Trump took office, the number of employed Americans reached a record high last month, climbing 319,000 from August's record 157,878,000 to 158,269,000. At the same time, the number of unemployed Americans set a Trump-era low at 5,769,000.

Those two strong numbers pushed the nation's unemployment rate to 3.5 percent in September -- down two-tenths of a point from last month, and the lowest rate since December 1969.

President Trump hailed the good news on Twitter, with a twist:

"Breaking News," Trump wrote. "Unemployment Rate, at 3.5%, drops to a 50 YEAR LOW. Wow America, lets impeach your President (even though he did nothing wrong!)."

The Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics said the economy added 136,000 jobs in September, as employment in health care and in professional and business services continued to trend up. Employment in government also continued its upward trend in September, with 22,000 jobs added. On a negative note, manufacturing employment dropped in September, losing 2,000 jobs.

In September, the civilian non-institutional population in the United States was 259,638,000. That included all people 16 and older who did not live in an institution (such as a prison, nursing home or long-term care hospital). Of that civilian non-institutional population, 164,039,000 were in the labor force, meaning that they either had a job or were actively seeking one during the last month.

That produced a labor force participation rate of 63.2 percent, the same as it was in August, and a Trump-era high. The higher this number, the better.

Of the 164,039,000 who were in the labor force, 5,769,000 were unemployed, which put the unemployment rate at a 50-year low of 3.5 percent.

The unemployment rate for Hispanics, 3.9 percent in September, has never been this low. The unemployment rate for blacks remained at the record low of 5.5 percent set in August.

(snip)

..It must be job growth, no matter how slow.

We've had "RECORD NUMBER OF PEOPLE EMPLOYED!!!" each and every month for 5 years now.

The fact that it's used for a headline is just an indication that the article is looking to hype and spin economic data to those that just don't know better.

It's a fascinating to recall the righty headlines in Obama days side by side with them now jumping for joy at 2-something GDP growth with paultry 135k/mo jobs and consequitive months of manufacturing jobs contraction.

The interesting thing is that when going up against you, one only needs the elixir of truth, and voila! Thereís the reality for all to see.

The ďrediculousĒ thing (beyond failures of spellcheck) is that when one combats you with the truth, you pretend it doesnít exist, presumably so that you can post ďyour truthĒ.

The fact is, you donít get to claim the untrue to be true. You can spin fairytales all you want but you have to sell them in the fiction department.

And you told me and everyone else for years that THE DECREASE IN LABOR FORCE PARTICIPATION RATE was due to retirees. You where called on it numerous times, even shown that retirees do not decrease L.F.P.R., and that the labor force itself was not growing due especially to people who dropped out. KNOW, not only is the labor force growing, unemployment is at a rate not only lower then what your hero ever achieved but also at a 50 year low. No way around this one, Trump is utterly destroying your hero on Jobs.
Plus, under your hero's tenure... the L.F.P.R. was lower when he left then when he started.

Since you love charts and graphs soooo... much

Notice something?

Care to compare same time in presidency between your hero and Trump? Maybe point out the fact that not only are there a record number of people in the work force but also the fact that not only is the unemployment percentage lower, so are the number of people unemployed as well as employed.

Yeah, you are consistent alright.

When a Democrat is in office, you find excuses how it's not their policies that effect outcomes.

When a Republican is in office, you find reasons why it's not their policies that effect outcomes.

So yeah, consistency.

Better yet how is that mean ol' racist Trump created not just more jobs for whites at the same time in Presidency, but also for blacks?
In just 2&1/2 years Trump has the same or better numbers in job creation and labor force growth than Obama did in eight.

https://www.bls.gov/.../cps_charts.pdf
Lot's of interesting charts and graphs in this link.

Ie how the Labor Force Participation rate decreased by about three percent under Obama. Which of coarse is more than under Bush 1 , 2 Clinton.
Page 10 is a real hoot in the fact that the percentage of part time employment as a whole has decreased greatly under Trump, it hit a high under Dear Obama.

Page 19 shows unemployment by race.
IT just keeps getting better and better....

You lash Trump for outlandish economic predictions while supporting Obama's outright lies related to keeping your doctor.

You're only "consistency" is demonizing Republicans while protecting Democrats.
