New York Democrats Move to Register Illegal Aliens, Non-Citizens to Vote

Article:

New York State Senate Democrats have advanced a plan that will automatically register to vote all residents who apply for a driver's licenses — which now includes non-citizens and illegal aliens — unless they "opt-out."

On Thursday, Senate Senate Democrats passed legislation that will automatically register all residents who obtain driver's licenses through the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMVs). As of this year, illegal aliens are able to obtain driver's licenses in New York, indicating that illegal aliens and non-citizens will only be excluded from the state voter rolls if they check the "opt-out" box before applying for a license.

New York Democrats pitched the legislation as an effort to "reduce the incidence of voter registration fraud and voting fraud," as well as to "prevent erroneous disfranchisement of eligible citizens, promote greater participation of eligible voters in elections…"

Sponsoring the legislation is Democrat Michael Gianaris, and co-sponsors include Democrat Joe Addabbo Jr., Jamaal Bailey, Alessandra Biaggi, John Liu, Neil Breslin, and Liz Krueger.

Currently in New York, American citizens only need a driver's license to register to vote, and although applicants are required to swear that they are eligible to vote, state election officials have previously admitted that "it's basically an honor system."

If just anybody can vote, why have elections? That is the Democrats' end game.

Why did Saddam, Chavez, Maduro, and Mao have elections? Dictator's use them to identify their enemies and to validate their positions.

So, the Democrats are saying that the illegals are smart enough to know how to get a picture driver license and are registered to vote, but blacks are too dumb to know how to get a picture id? I know if I were black, I would be highly insulted at that racism.

I just renewed my drivers license here in Texas, 67 years old, 6 years in the military, been driving since I was 16 and HAD to prove I was an American citizen so I could renew the license. Fortunately I had a consular report of birth that I had to get to prove I was an American citizen to get a concealed carry permit. BUT I had to show the original, not a copy.

So, will these people be able to get on an airplane? Will these have the "smart chip" and all the security even though there is no way of verfyiing any documentation? Hence the, you inow, "illegal" aspect of all this... :whistling:

I would love to see a congressman or senator sponsor a bill (probably better in the senate) to disallow any voting results from NY state until they fix that problem.

I will be 70 in a few months. I have been driving with a SD license since I was 16, even through the many years I was a Navy wife, and the last time I had to renew mine, I had to have a birth certificate issued through the Registrar of Deeds (luckily I live only about 6 blocks from the county court house in the county I was born in) and my old license or other official picture ID and two pieces of mail showing my address. And we do have to show a picture ID to vote in South Dakota.

The dems are determined to win by any means necessary, and once they do, it's over and out for America. The current crop of dems are socialist/communists through and through, and that's what we will have. We have to stop them.

It really sucks that so many of our fellow countrymen, oops countrypersons, do not understand or accept why this nation has been successful. It really sucks that we have to deal with “socialism is great”, yet again.

Another bill I'd like to see from the Senate: any law, procedure, policy, etc. that automatically registers to vote any individual or person who is not legally permitted to vote, in state and/or federal elections, especially due to lack of valid and legal U.S. Citizenship, is hereby declared illegal within the U.S., its territories, and protectorates, and any such law, procedure, policy, etc. is declared void and of no-effect what-so-ever. Despite any claims to the contrary, having in place any such law, procedure, policy, etc. would clearly blur the lines of validity with regard to voting, and would carry an inherent risk of fraudulent voting, and the disenfranchisement of U.S. Citizens. Anyone proposing any law, procedure, policy, etc. should be removed from any position of authority if it is determined that the action was done deliberately and with malice aforethought.
