How this forum works

In this forum Community Supporters of any level can create a topic in which they can publish their political platform--in other words, what they would do if they were president. All members can reply to these topics and are encouraged to do so.

I would rather be a power-behind-the-throne type, and in any case have a real liking for political strategy. Maybe some others do as well. We could have a spinoff blog (or just use this thread) for "What would you do if you were the President's political adviser", a Karl Rove or Lee Atwater (boy-could-we-use-him)-type. The assumption would be that you were running a Republican president's campaign (not GW's, although that could be a corollay thread, maybe something more for the main news area). I can't decide if it should be incumbent, challenger, or open presidency (in which case which one is of the challenging party to the outgoing prexy would be important).
