Before our troops entered Iraq, Marcy Kaptur compared Osama to American revolutionaries. Also saying she thinks those of faith understand that their terrorist acts are "actions...of sacred piety to the point of losing their lives."

The insolent Kaptur says that not only does she not regret comparing Osama bin Laden to American Revolutionary War figures, she’s happy for a greater platform to criticize the Bush administration’s handling of the brewing conflict with Iraq.

Food and Education will Avert Terrorism
Kaptur said the Catholic tradition calls for embracing the poor and the dispossessed. Thus, she believes, rather than initiate military action, the United States should try to counter the poverty and repression that she says breed terrorism in the Mideast.
