The site has deteriorated to the point that intolerance and stupidity are actively encouraged by a couple of irresponsible moderators. In the past, the moderators were notable for their professionalism and dispassionate efforts to maintain decorum. Unfortunately, MikeAustin has become unhinged - a disappointing contrast with his former sobriety - and a person like Talespin is not moderator material. The cool-headed moderators like rvdk and aem have gone, and the site is the poorer for it. When a site owner who lets poor moderators run amok, an ignominious decline is all but guaranteed.
