Eight women say Charlie Rose sexually harassed them — with nudity, groping and lewd calls

The Washington Post

By Irin Carmon and Amy Brittain

November 20 at 6:34 PM

<Excerpt>

Eight women have told The Washington Post that longtime television host Charlie Rose made unwanted sexual advances toward them, including lewd phone calls, walking around naked in their presence, or groping their breasts, buttocks or genital areas.

The women were employees or aspired to work for Rose at the “Charlie Rose” show from the late 1990s to as recently as 2011.

read rest here

So the news reporters have a horrible sex scandal. I am surprised they are actually reporting on this. I figured they would have each others backs.

How curious that over the past year, I would remark to my hubby "If Bill O'Reilly is a sexual harasser, when is the other shoe going to drop on all these other (non-FOX) journalists?", knowing full well that the media would never go there. But they have and WOW ! Charlies Rose, Mark Halperin, etc. I am in shock.

Sheesh, I'm beginning to wonder if there are any famous people, actors, politicians, etc, who haven't engaged in any sexual misconduct.

"Charlie Rose"??? Last I would've expected it from, except maybe Bill O'Reilly or Richard Nixon.

WTF???

I mean, as both a small biz owner and former strip club manager:

WTF???

YES, of course, in either or both roles I've had plenty of "opportunity". But I NEVER have; It's just bad business AND bad management to go "fishing on the company pier" , so to speak. It's just bad in so many way that I can't even BEGIN to describe it.

Until it happens to my girlfriend or sister or niece or whatever. Then it'll be Hell on earth for the sorry bastard.

That was a rather extensive report.

First that WaPo is still running the laughable "Democracy dies in darkness" banner.

Second, that Charlie Rose is trying too hard with his non-apology. I mentioned in another thread how the left ignores its own sexual predators. Harassment, groping, and even rape are indulgences as long as women are "liberated" with access to abortion and promises of "equal pay".

Some even brag about abortion and rape as an "experience", a check on the bucket list, or a "rite of passage". Whether violated by the Muslim Brotherhood on a rooftop in Libya or by a beta-male in a tent on Wall Street. It's "empowerment".

Final thought. This whole situation reminds me of Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" and the name of the movie escapes me..."I'm mad as hell and I'm not taking it".

But, I think of one of my favorite Cold War-era songs which is more existential to the fall of these Modern Romans: "They stood there laughing; They're not laughing anymore".

Beta shows up at a softball practice to assassinate Republicans with an "assault rifle". I predict a rash of Alphas defending family pride and honor with a good old-fashion ass-whooping with fisticuffs. As it should be.

LOL

I was gonna make a "yuge" joke (i.e. yuge no matter where I am...) but I figure it goes without saying.

I believe the quote was "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more." Heckuva movie.

How about we just purge PBS, and stop forcing taxpayers to fund socialist nonsense? Then we don't need the new talent on the Taxpayer dollar.

:exactly:

Most of them have or they would not have been allowed to remain in the profession and ascend in it.

They started out as the victims of it then moved up to be the ones doing the victimizing.

It's been going on longer than most have ever known.

One more "conspiracy" fact.

We don't need PBS at all.

It's a colossal waste of taxpayer's money to disseminate libtard propaganda.

Another day, another degenerate.

I remember him sitting around the table looking crushed with the rest of the CBS filth the night Trump won.
