Article:

Washington Post reporter Janell Ross, who claims to be “unbiased,” spoke at a top-secret meeting of progressive activists where donors, including George Soros, coordinate their progressive agenda, according to Fox News.

The Democracy Alliance calls itself “the largest network of donors dedicated to building the progressive movement in the United States” on its official website. Nothing wrong with this — unless, of course, a member is a journalist for one of the most influential media outlets in the country that claims impartiality.

The group also boasts playing “a leading role in fostering the infrastructure necessary to advance a progressive agenda” in the United States.

Ross attended the event “without notifying her superiors that she would be attending,” according to a spokesperson for the Post, reports The Washington Free Beacon.

“Ross, whose panel was sandwiched by a talk with liberal billionaire George Soros and a message by Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) on Russian interference in the 2016 election, helped attendees explore questions such as: 'What do progressives stand for?'” according to Free Beacon.

Of course this will surprise nobody. So the only part that made me chuckle out loud was the part about WaPo claiming "impartiality", LOLOLOL.

Yeah, I laughed out loud at that part, then had to explain to my husband when he heard me.

I'm sure the non-hypocritical left will call for her resignation.

Well, they would, if any such people existed.

Who IS this ass, Janell Ross? She's a graduate of Vassar and the Columbia School of Journalism who writes opinions disguises as journalism for the Wash Post. She is also a Fellow of the New America Foundation. Some of her Wash Post columns can be found on that foundation's website although they are still behind the Washpost paywall.

When Bill Cosby's rape trial ended in a mistrial, a number of black people claimed that the charges were part of a vague racist conspiracy. Rather than compare the conspiracy theories to the known facts of the case, Ross went out and interviewed conspiracy theorists. She is an example of why the MSM is too far down the credibility drain to float back up.

One of the strange things about the meeting is that its sponsor, Democracy Alliance, wanted participation in it to be held confidential. From their brochure:

Democracy Alliance participants are entitled to the expectation that their conference experience and their identity should remain confidential. In order to keep faith with that expectation, we ask Partners and guests not to share Partners's names or details of the conference with the press or to post to personal media channels including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube, et cetera.

So, a Washpost opinionator joined a conference whose organizers didn't want anything about it printed in the news media? And, she didn't tell her employers she was going to participate? I guess "the people's right to know" disappears as usual when a journo does something she doesn't want the people to know about.

A quick scan of her background provides the unsurprising revelation that it's all race-based. She's Mooch's Soul Sista
