Ohhh, well isn't that cute. Poly wants a graph now? Nope, those days are gone.

It has been made abandantly clear to me, posting economic data is frowned upon in this establishment. So I'm not going to anymore.

So now is a good time for you Zurg to stop being a helpless bum and go look it up for yourself. Crazy concept, I know.

Grim do you LIKE having the same discussion over and over and over?

Yes I know that YOU think that 2% is "healthy", you've made that perfectly clear, I GOTCHA.

But anyone who has been around Obama years and 2016 election knows that this WAS NOT the conservative position at large. The position was that 2% growth is ANEMIC, that the economy is stagnant, and Obama is a loser for never having had 3+% annual growth.

Well it is now 2019 and real GDP growth for the decade topped out in 2015 (2.88%), with 2017 (2.80%) coming in a close second. But somehow conservatives came around to think that the stagnant economy turned booming just a few moments after the Trumpy bear got into office on the promises of 4,5 or even 6% growth.

4% is nowhere in sight nor do we have any complaint at all from the right about those predictions turning out to be false or the fact that we are now running trillion dollar deficits in what they describe as a booming economy. Nope, under Trump the economy is finally great and who has time to worry about the deficits when we have so many tax-cuts? :drinkers:

:crybaby2:

Then leave.

I'm just gonna take a wild guess here and say AntonToo actually did look up the graphs in question, but didn't like what he saw. Poly wants a graph now?

Nigel Farage has stated that 0bama pushed Brexit over the finish line

A fan of Farage, but that's nonsense. I think Nigel was playing to a US audience with that comment.

Obama's comment had no bearing on the result, sorry. At best, it annoyed we Leavers. Made Remainers smile, but that's it.

The result was based on British issues: immigration, laws etc. And by TV debates.

I am a bit of an Anglophile. I have always wanted to visit, but either I have the time or the money. Never both at the same time. I was watching a Sargon of Akkad video recently where he was talking about Ash Sarkar's article where she claims labor did not loose the working class. To get to her point she changed the definition of working class to include poor middle class students.

Sarkar is a genuine communist, and infamously said so on TV, with a proud smile on her attractive but vacant face.

Labour lost the British working class so badly, they may never get them back. The party built directly for them......that's how much a cancer Comrade Jeremy has been for left politics.

A "healthy" economy, Anton. Do you know what healthy means?

When you're recovering from a recession, 2% growth is, in fact, anemic.

Try answering this, Smart Guy: What kind of idiot jacks up taxes in the middle of a freakin recession?

President Jesus.

That's the idiot who jacked up taxes in the middle of a recession. Not to help the economy, mind you. President Jesus jacked up taxes in the middle of a recession because "the rich had to pay their fair share".

Yes, "the rich had to pay their fair share" and the rest of us get f**ked in the ass.

Your idiot President prolonged a recession so he could stick to rich people, THE VERY PEOPLE CAPABLE OF WEATHERING A RECESSION.

So score one for the "Little Guy", who had to suck on it so the rich could pay their fair share.

And we get it, Anton. You're angry at Trump for prediction 6% growth. I mean, you repeat it every chance you get, but here's a clue for the clueless: Nobody give it sh*t about you're anger.

So you're left with "complaining" about 2% growth, which AGAIN is perfectly normal for healthy developed economy.

Which, honestly, I find funny as sh*t.

Link to data, BUT NOT A GRAPH BECAUSE GRAPHS ARE BAD, for the helpless

Y'know, it comes as no surprise you can't even get THAT part right. Good Gawd you're helplessly clueless. (Or is it cluelessly helpless?) In any case, it's not that charts and graphs are "bad" (), it's only when they're unsourced (and therefore unverifiable.)

Oh well, LOL, I learned long ago to not expect any better from you.

Most likely, he will never respond. It’s the cowards way.

You were correct. He completely ignored his humiliating defeat.

You always forget about the QE propping up of the 0-bamaeconomy. If his economic policy was so sound and strong, why all the years and hundreds of billions of QE to keep it going?

4 Trillion Fed balance? Wow, wonderful Trump economy with trillion dollar deficits would never need that!

But wait...whats this?

The Fed reported that its balance sheet had risen to $4.17 trillion as of Jan. 1 2020, from $3.8 trillion in September 2019.

The "repo" market is not quantitative easing. You are in WAY over your head.

The deficits have nothing to do with Trump economic policies. They are due to legacy entitlement policies like Medicare and Medicaid.

Just keep drinking and think about it. It may come to you some day...

Maybe this will help you understand the source of our deficit.

As you can see, most of the increase comes from Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other means tested entitlements. Not really something you can blame Trump for.

Wow, you mean to tell me that spending has something to do with budgets? That is a crazy concept...almost as crazy as revenues having something to do with budgets.

Trump's policies increased spending AND decreased revenues, thereby increasing deficits. That policy adds up to around 20% of current deficit, so no, he didn't cause all or even most of the problem but absolutely he should be blamed for false promises he made re. balancing the budgets and paying off debt. He did EXACTLY OPPOSITE by increasing deficits and has zero interest in fiscal issues as far as anyone could tell.

Seems just yesterday Republicans were protesting deficits with tea-bags on their hats but now have forgoten all about that and are giving Trump a full pass on this.

What budget? All we have are continuing resolutions. Trump has proposed budgets that would achieve his goals but the democrats refuse to help America unless they get the credit.

What budget?

..the difference between what the government taxes and spends does not go away just because our Congress can't find a way to write it down.

You seriously didn't know that?

Yep, and unlike the last U.S. president who threatened Teresa May with no help if you-all voted to leave the E.U., Donald Trump is already on board to make a trade deal with Boris Johnson once it happens.

Teresa May technically received no help, but that's her fault not Obama's.

Experts in the climate are actually expert propagandists as are all the rest of these socialist wanks.

The Trump budget proposals WERE written down. The democrats just refused to even consider it because they wouldn't get the credit for it. They also didn't control who got the government contracts, which is what democrats live for.

Hey you cartoon character. You do realize that all of the budgets since 2010 have been CONTINUING RESOLUTIONS. IN other words oh child of marx, the same budget has been pushed on us for almost 10 years by both Democrat and Republican. It originated with Obama and funds his goals. Yet now you pretend like this is something new? This is brought to you by the house of representatives they are the one's who originate a budget or in this case choose not to follow the Constitutional process and instead create this crap out of nowhere. SO now back to your poorly sourced stupidity.
