President Donald Trump was briefed less and less with warnings about Russia's behavior toward the US because he would get angry when presented with intelligence about it, CNN reported on Wednesday.

Early in Trump's presidency, officials learned to limit their verbal briefings on the topic and would often see their written materials ignored, former administration officials told CNN's Jim Sciutto.

"The president has created an environment that dissuades, if not prohibits, the mentioning of any intelligence that isn't favorable to Russia," a former senior national security staffer told CNN.

John Ratcliffe, the director of national intelligence, who started in May, and Robert O'Brien, the national security adviser, denied the accounts.

The claims have nonetheless have renewed the relevance of a New York Times report, published last week, that said Taliban-linked bounty killings sponsored by Russia targeted US troops.

Yeah all over this! He always flies off into a rage when X happens according to ex-staffers and thus Y happened. You can make your own story up on this just insert X and Y and there you go!

Trump flew off in a rage when x(told about new hair growth formula) according to ex-staffers and thus hair club for men dissolved!

This is cover for the Russians payed terrorists to kill soldiers lie. Turns out, Trump was never briefed on it because it couldn’t be verified. Now they have to change the narrative to make Trump look bad.

Citing multiple former officials, CNN reported that at the start of his presidency, Trump often flew into a rage at briefers who attempted to tell him about hostile Russian activity toward the US, including political interference.

"Multiple former officials?  Who?"

"Top men."

"Who?"

"TOP MEN!"

Inquiring minds want to know!  Man are the stories incredible when the sources are anonymous and there is no way to verify it.

Aaannddd CapnD has disappeared once again.

The left is charging ahead though, all oxes pulling the load, all pigeons in the air with messages, gotta admit.

And how about the ideas they pitch! They’re SOOOO excitingly novel and unique, I’ve never heard these incredible charges against Trump before! They must be true! If I can’t verify them they’re still true because Russians, under Trump’s orders, took them off the internetz.

ERP, the following animus is not directed at you but your question gives the perfect springboard:   Does it matter who Cap'n D is?  Either the story is true or the story is false.  Rather than attacking the messenger, which is the MO for a lot of folks on Rightnation, why not simply ignore the thread?

The person that started the thread most likely did not write the story.......so why do so many folks make the thread about the poster rather than the published article the thread is about?  It happens with a female poster here all the time.

Perhaps because of repeated hit pieces churned out by biased and discredited 'news' sources continue to be posted to waste space...

Or hadn't that thought occurred?

Read a piece by Mollie Hemingway that said Adam Schiff was briefed on the bounty thing back in February and did nothing and told noone.  That story will now disappear.
