Blitz: Trump's War on the Left is Just Getting Started

As the country seems to be spinning into chaos with cities burning and businesses shutting down, one question is on the minds of the media, the establishment, and the nearly 36 million Americans whose votes made history in the 2016 election.

Can President Donald J. Trump pull off a win one more time — in 2020?

That’s the question of the year that bestselling author David Horowitz tackles in his latest book, "Blitz: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win." In his previous book, "Big Agenda: President Trump's Plan to Save America," Horowitz had laid out the strategy and the stakes for the struggle consuming the last three years. Now, in "Blitz," he tackles the climactic battles for the next four years — and the future of America.

"Blitz" refers to both the war waged against President Trump by foreign and domestic adversaries, from Communist China to Marxist mobs in the streets, as well as his relentless defense of the Republic.

This is the year our commander in chief was emergent as a "wartime president," defending not just the moral integrity of the White House, but its very physical structure against radicals determined to burn it to the ground.

As the threat to this nation has reached unprecedented levels, so has Trump’s defense of it.

From Obamagate to impeachment to leftists bringing fire and fear to within sight of the White House, the material attacks on the Trump presidency have escalated from surveillance to lawfare to violence.

Meanwhile the moral attacks, the character assassinations and 24/7 defamation, have been used to license this unprecedented campaign to bring down our nation's 45th president by any means.

What the left fears is no secret.

The media has spoken the dreaded word again and again — Populism.

I honestly don't believe that most Americans understand what is at stake.

The leftwing political animals of today are hellbent on turning this country into a socialist/marxist nightmare where there is no freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to assemble, freedom to bear arms or even freedom of thought.

Step by step over the last 70 years, they have taken control of academia, the media, government and big business and they have finally reached the point where they can shut down the economy based on a lie and the American people, dumbed down and ignorant from decades of indoctrination, simply comply.

The United States is a nation of frogs in a pot of water and the left has been turning up the heat slowly over decades and they are eager to make it boil.

We need a warrior like Trump if we expect to turn back the tide.

Well, I was informed in another thread that President Trump really isn't ALL THAT, but he'll do in a pinch...

I agree with all of that.

As I mentioned, I stated many of the very things that Greenfield cited as reasons why Trump is particularly suited for the job he is currently doing and should continue to do for this nation, but several of our fellow posters made it quite clear that he's not all that because he's also a pompous jerk at times.

I guess when one has one or more character flaws amidst many good qualities, the ONLY ones that matter are the negatives, and to judge the man on the whole of his person and the caliber of the job he is doing in the face of these unprecedented attacks on him from all directions is considered to be fawning and idol worship.

I never said he can walk on water, I said he's the guy we need right now to get this particular job done and weather the onslaught of bullsh*t he's been enduring, which, again, is at a level and ferocity I have not seen a President endure in my lifetime, and apparently that means I'm declaring him a perfect being.

It's all in the interpretation, apparently.

So was General Patton, but he got the job done.
