VIDEO: Sen. Rand Paul and Wife Attacked by BLM Mob After Leaving White House

Redstate.com; Jennifer Van Laar

Almost immediately after President Donald Trump and multiple Republican National Convention speakers hammered home the message that in Joe Biden’s America, people aren’t safe, a massive mob of “Black Lives Matter” rioters surrounded Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and his wife as they walked home from the White House. The Pauls were immediately assisted by DC Police and were able to get to their hotel safely – but only because of that assistance.

Once he was safe, Sen. Paul tweeted his gratitude.

Senator Rand Paul @RandPaul

Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob.

3:39 PM · Aug 28, 2020

When the “peaceful protesters” surrounded the Pauls, they were shouting “Say her name!” referring to Breonna Taylor, the Kentucky woman who was killed during the execution of a no-knock warrant issued against her ex-boyfriend.

Video of the incident depicts the Pauls being escorted by DC police, who were physically attacked by the mob and were forced to use bicycles as makeshift shields.

<snip>

Where do we draw the line? A sitting United States Senator was attacked (for the second time). What’s stopping these violent anarchists from attacking any one of us? Nothing (except our guns and ammo, so buy more).

Tom Fitton from Judicial Watch has an excellent suggestion.

Tom Fitton @TomFitton

A United State Senator, @RandPaul, was almost killed tonight by a mob of violent communists. President @RealDonaldTrump should invoke the Insurrection Act and take other appropriate action to preserve our Republic.

3:46 PM · Aug 28, 2020

Barring that, normal Americans will take their own appropriate action.

As alluded to in a thread posted earlier today, I do believe we have crossed the Rubicon.

Yes, I also, believe that River has well and truly been crossed.....let’s see how the left wing press spins this today.....let’s see if Joe “where am I” Biden makes a statement condemning these violent acts from his basement in Delaware, let’s see if Beth Midler has a comment about the English spoken by the mob, let’s see any member of “the squad-lid” come to the floor of the People’s House of Representatives and condemn these hooligans, let’s see demands from Rand Paul’s fellow members of the loyal opposition in the Senate come before the American people and say......Enough Is Enough!  And demand action.....

The Only one I see that will take ANY action is Donald J. Trump.....this is what the  Soros funded rioters want....a harsh reaction by the government so they can claim further victimhood.....they think they can start a revolution......they think they can bully America into submission......I seem to recall that the Japanese thought the same think in late 1941....but.....all they did was to “awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a Terrible resolve.”  So my “peaceful protesters” be very careful what you wish for.......

I’ll be waiting while in line at my local outdoor retailer buying more bullets.......

From Just South of the Red River and way North of Austin.....

The only thing that will stop this is force. Can you imagine how bad this will get if Trump wins reelection? The only solution is to invoke the Insurrection Act and declare Martial Law in these areas, with pretty open ROE. This is not political protest, this is insurrection and violent revolution against the government.

Mod Note: It is entirely possible to discuss a topic without advocating violence. As there are multiple current topics of a similar nature with similar posts occurring more frequently, they all stand a good chance of being closed down. Additional warnings will start getting handed out along with posting restrictions.

While I agree that one can discuss a topic without advocating violence, may I ask what should be typed in response to what happened in the video of Rep Paul being viciously harassed by  peaceful protesters? Send rainbows and unicorns to protect us from these peaceful protesters? No disrespect to you or your background but it might be entirely possible you do not have a clue as to what people are capable of when pushed to unreasonable limits. However as my Dad used to say I have not idea of what I speak of.

Amazing that this happened to a sitting US Senator.

Thr lost control of their mob minions and are now trying to blame all this on Trump. Calling it Trumps American.

Biden is on tape saying if you want this to stop you have to get Trump out of the White House. In others words, a threat.

If Biden wins, we are seriously lost as a nation. But I don’t think that will happen.

Say, nice shiny beautiful downtown shopping districts you have there, it would be a shame if anything happened to them if Biden isn’t elected.

Few of these "peaceful" protests make much sense.

-I'm mad at the police, so I'm going to burn down the only grocery store near my neighborhood.

or in this case:

-Let's harass the senator who introduced a bill in June to ban no-knock raids in direct response to the event they're protesting. i.e. He's probably more on their side on this issue than anyone else around them and he's tried using his power to do something about it instead of just blocking the street, chanting, and harassing people like they're doing.

It's simple...

1. My background is irrelevant.

2. Don't advocate or call for violence against another person. You (the 'general' you) are not the judge, jury and executioner.

3. Don't advocate or call for the killing of another person. You (the 'general' you) are not the judge, jury and executioner.

If anyone would like to make posts like that, then this is probably not the site for them. Said posts will result in warnings, suspensions and could potentially result in permanent bans from this site.

The ironic thing is Paul's about the biggest ally they could have if they actually cared about reigning in whatever police powers they hate.  He's a borderline libertarian.  Hell he's trying to pass a new law regarding the Breonna Taylor bill where the federal government dictates to every state how the police will act in a particular circumstance.  They should love that.

They know that ... so obviously, that's NOT what they want out of all this rioting and mayhem.

They don't recognize any allies, and they have not chosen a 'side'. They can NOT be reasoned with since their goal is not compromise, but destruction of the U.S., all it has built up, all it stands for, all its people, and all its history. There is only one language they understand, and they are trying to provoke a "conversation" (of a sort) in that language. If they keep pushing poking and prodding they will undoubtedly provoke some person or group to 'engage' them in just that sort of lively 'conversation' that they understand. The exchange undoubtedly will be glorious, and the last thing they see will be our 'point' in blinding clarity.
