...are you saying  I trust Chinese authorities?

And the date on that statement is JANUARY 14.

I could really give Trump some slack in the early days of this pandemic, but he has been consistently misinforming the public, spreading magical thinking and contradicting his health experts throughout this whole year.

As evidenced by Fauchi stating in plain English, that the President has followed his recommendations, right?

What treatment options are available to the President that aren't available to us?

White Man medicine, or something similar.

Thats true, he was more vulnerable after chemo. Still, there is no serious evidence HCQ is helpful.

of course you'd say so.

Henry ford study was flawed as Faucci long ago explained:

https://www.freep.com/story/news/health/2020/08/03/henry-ford-fauci-trump-hydroxychloroquine-covid-19/5573656002/

Their study subjects also recieved steriod therapies that DID show results in separate trials.

Nuuuh, who needs prayers for just a flu-like illness...especially when you've got hydroxychloroquine?

Bub, there are 3 vaccines. Have you been with Biden down in his basement sitting on his lap and playing with his hairy legs?

You clearly need to look up what a vaccine is.

It trains your body, over a period of time, to produce anti-bodies. It is however useless as treatment AFTER you actually get sick.

back just in time for another election, eh?

that's what you see.  What we see is someone who isn't cowering in the corner.  It's not ebola.  It's not the Spanish flu.  Numbers globally show that the reaction has been overblown.  Whether the powers that be intended the reaction to be overblown so as to push the envelope in regards to their power I don't know.  But the continued sky-is-falling cries and reactions are very convenient for those who wish to take advantage of it.

Putting it in terms of campy 1950s horror films, there are people who act like the weak, screaming caricature of a woman crying out for "SOMEBODY PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!", and there are those who roll up their sleeves, wipe their brow bleed a little and get on with life.

Absolutely, the president will turn this into a positive while the media panics. I hope he tweets a message to all of the Proud Boys of Black and Hispanic persuasion inviting them to the White House after he and the First Lady recover.

One thing is for SURE, neither Fauci or Redfield will have anything to do with treating the President and First Lady.

It is so obvious which of our posters live in an intellectual and awareness bubble by their ignorant and dishonest outbursts. While the focus stays on the CDC and NIHS many doctors and clinics have developed effective treatments. Bureaucracies by definition are insulated from innovation and outside the box actions. Fauci and Redfield are classic bureaucrats.

President Trump is already on his third or fourth move in this battle while his detractors are still setting up their pieces. He may feel a little under the weather, he will not suddenly become stupid or cowardly.

NYTimes already sharing their version of "well wishes"...

New York Times slammed for suggesting Trump might not remain on ballot after coronavirus diagnosis

By Brian Flood | Fox News

Published 3 hours ago

The New York Times was slammed on Friday for suggesting that President Trump might not be able to remain on the ballot following his positive coronavirus test.

Trump announced that both he and first lady Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19 and will quarantine at the White House. A White House source told Fox News shortly after the president’s tweet that he and the first lady are “fine” and are in the quarantine process at the White House.

While many critics have sent the president well wishes, the Gray Lady was quick to float the idea that he should just scrap seeking re-election altogether.

“If he becomes sick, it could raise questions about whether he should remain on the ballot at all,” Times reporters Peter Baker and Maggie Haberman wrote after noting that Trump’s positive test throws “the nation’s leadership into uncertainty.”

NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck noticed the way the Times framed the story and swiftly blasted the paper.

“No big deal. Just The New York Times openly wondering if (read: rooting for) Trump should QUIT the election and thus preemptively concede to Joe Biden,” Houck wrote. “And yet, the national press don't want to be called the enemy of the people.”

The New York Times did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It is in fact true that Trump may get very sick and there is nothing wrong with considering where that leads.

Boris Johnson was fine at first too...and then he ended up in the ICU.

You're getting way ahead of yourself. The man hasn't even got sick yet, if he will, at all. Might be difficult, but bottling down the ghoulish glee for even just one frigging day would clearly be better for the left's pretense of "decency" in the long run.
