Another media attack on Trump fails

Article:

NBC attempted to set a trap for Donald Trump during the Townhall, ambushing the president with interrogation-like questions and then interrupting him as he tried to speak.  As usual, it backfired.

Never Trumpers believe Savannah Guthrie did an excellent job in her role as moderator of the Trump Townhall.  Trump supporters, with good reason, could see it was the exact opposite.  But what is important is the view of the large number on undecided viewers.  The response of the public does not appear to support the Trump-haters' reading of events.

Actually, it was pretty bad, raising questions as to how or why it could happen.

Did the Trump campaign pay NBC executives to choreograph this town hall or are they really that incompetent?  Guthrie was coached by NBC executives.  They knew exactly how she would behave.  They did not take into consideration the negative reaction to Chris Wallace's performance during the first debate and how that affected public regard for them, because Getting Trump was too important. But Guthrie did not come across well, and it's going to backfire on them.  It is almost unbelievable that these highly paid executives could be so incompetent.

The president knew in advance what he would be confronted with.  The Deep State Media have a limited number of questions in their quiver.  One mandatory question is about his willingness to denounce white supremacy.  Guthrie stated, "You were asked point blank to denounce white supremacy.  In the moment you didn't.  You asked me follow-up questions. Two specifically."  The president mentioned that his advisors told him this would be brought up.  If there is another "debate" it will certainly be brought up again.  Through repetition it will convince a number of people that he has not denounced it. The fact that there is numerous recording of his denunciations is irrelevant.  Have Guthrie or Wallace denounced white supremacy?  If they have not done so publicly, can it be assumed that they are white supremacists?

It also helped to have a comparative program on at the same time.

Guthrie acting like an hysterical, spittle-spurting shrew vs Stephanopoulos giving Gampa Joe a nice back rub.

It was the Hellen Heckler show more than anything else. It really was ridiculous, she sounded shrill, angry and just plain annoying. This is why men tune women out.

Oh, women also hate other women who behave like total bitches, like Savannah did. Which makes them more sympathetic towards the receiving party, in this case Trump.

Hey, y'all, there's really no reason to drag my stepmother into this. LOL.

That said, I DO think there is an essential difference between Men and Women.

I mean, Zurg, Taggart, others: Yeah, sure, we disagree on things from time to time. But, so what? We're still friends,  and can sit down and have a beer afterwards.

With women it's different: If any of y'all had ever disagreed with my Stepmom on ANYTHING, even back in the '60s, you're still the "Enemy" to this day.

Ticked@TinselTown

Well, they sent Sissy Wallace in on the first one, and he was a total douche.

They decided to tart up Savanah Muffy and send her in to try to score more points and she just came off as the same bitter shrew Sissy did.

So, it will be interesting to see what happens in round 3.

I have a strong intuition that we all know which way Kristen “Biased” Welker will lean.
